How far along? 38 weeks and 5 days
Total weight gain/measurements: 29 lbs and my belly is 41” around.
Maternity clothes: I hate them.
Stretch marks: Nope.
Sleep: I'm tired all the time.
Best moment this week: Going to brunch with friends we haven't seen in a while and eating 3 blueberry pancakes.
Miss anything? Having clothes to wear that are my style.
Movement: Still plenty of movement. :)
Food Cravings: Potato chips. Which is weird because I don't really even like chips. Ha ha!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Gender: Don't know.
Labor signs: I've had more contractions and have gotten some pretty intense ones in my back in the last few days but it's not labor yet.
Symptoms: Nothing new.
Belly button in or out? Out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off. :(
Happy or moody most of the time: Both. My midwife said that it is really important to relax from now on because any amount of stress is going to tell my body that it's not an ideal situation to go into labor. I said, oh maybe I should stop answering the phone when anyone calls and she said that if that would help then it's a good idea. Ha ha! I've started getting the “how are you feeling?” questions...meaning are you in labor yet...a little too often from a few too many people. I think the ridiculous part of that is that it's such a cliché and everyone knows that everyone who has ever been pregnant hates when people do that and it puts pressure on them to perform and yet for some stupid reason lots of people still do it anyway because they think it's fun to be part of the problem. (Can you tell I'm really over being pregnant???)
