Ava Anderson Haul | Natural Products

Recently I “attended” an Ava Anderson party that my sister hosted. I put attended in quotation marks because it was an online party. I ended up buying a bunch of different products and I even got a freebie because I was the most active person participating in the party! Ha ha! Ava Anderson is a company that makes natural home and beauty products without using harsh, toxic chemicals. It's run like any other company that does home parties. I do think that the products are priced well for a smallish company that makes natural products. Anyway, on to what I bought!

natural cleaner, chemical free products

Ava Anderson has a lot of different types of products ranging from baby to body to makeup to home cleaning to candles, and I think more. From the Ava Home line I bought the Glass & All Purpose Cleaner and the Bathroom & Hard Surface Cleaner. They come with a screw top and you have to buy the spray nozzles separately but then you only have to buy the nozzles once. After that you just buy the refill bottle and swap out the top. In addition to limiting the chemicals you use to clean your home you are decreasing the amount of plastic that you are throwing away by reusing the tops.

natural products, chemical free products, paraben free, hair care, beauty, shampoo, conditioner

From the Ava Hair line I bought the Shampoo and Conditioner. These can be used as is but I did decide to buy the optional pumps to put on the bottles because I think that is a little easier than squeezing it out. It's the same idea as the home cleaners in that you buy a new bottle but reuse the pump.

natural products, chemical free, aluminum free deodorant, body, beauty, skin care, moisturizer, shea butter, dream cream

I bought the Dream Cream and the Deodorant from the Ava Body line. I have started using the Dream Cream and I really like it. It's pretty thick and smells nice. It's got shea butter in it so I'm really liking it for the winter.  By the way, you can put it on your face.  I tried it just to see and it was very thick but it felt nice and could be good as a night cream for super dry winter skin.  The Ava Deodorant has no parabens, no aluminum, and no harmful chemicals. The ingredient list is all recognizable things and I am excited to try it out. I am not sure how I really feel about switching to a deodorant only (most of us use a deodorant/antiperspirant combo) but I have been wanting to give it a go and this seemed like a good opportunity to do that.

exfoliator, natural beauty products, chemical free products, skin care, sugar lip scrub
Sorry this picture is a little blurry! :(

The freebie I got from the party was the Exfoliator from the Ava Skin line. I would say it has a medium level grit in it. I have used it on my face a few times and it was fine but I prefer it for my body. The Sugar Lip Scrub smells SO GOOD! It smells like spearmint. My sister actually gave me the lip scrub for Christmas so I didn't buy that one either but I love it! My lips have been so chapped lately and this has really been helping.

Let me know if you have ever used any Ava Anderson products and which ones you like. ALSO: have any of you tried natural deodorant before? What are your thoughts?

I also made a video version of this haul as my first main channel video back in over a month!

  1. I just got my Ava Anderson products. Good to know the Dream Cream can go on your face. I'll try it. I am really chapped. I have been putting the eye cream on my neck as well as my eyes. I like it!

  2. What makes an eye cream specifically for eyes? I was trying to figure that out.

    1. As far as I know, nothing. Ha ha! The basic purpose of eye cream is to be moisturizing so most are heavier formulas, kind of like what most people would use at night as opposed to lighter day formulas on the whole face. Just like with other moisturizing face products there might be other ingredients in there for different purposes, like brightening or tightening, etc. I mean really, vaseline after washing your face will hold in moisture and that all you're trying to do there. Personally, I use eye cream for the purpose of keeping my makeup from settling into blobs in wrinkles and I don't care about the "anti-aging" ingredient options.
