It finally happened!  Spring is HERE! At my house!  I didn't even need socks today!  Of course it is still that weird time of year when it is colder in the house than it is outside so I opened a bunch of windows.  I actually have a really nice breeze happening in here now, which is awesome.  I don't think I've had my toenails painted for probably four months because I literally couldn't stand to keep my feet out of socks and slippers long enough to paint them and let them dry.

To celebrate the fact that it is warm today AND that it was actually sunny I sat out on my deck.  Literally, right on the deck because I didn't want to waste time dragging out a chair.  I now have very matchy fingers and toes with the brightest hot pink nail polish that I own (I own plenty, btw).

Urban Outfitters Hottub

Urban Outfitters nail polish is surprisingly good.  Also, I really like how it looks like the polish is stuck in an ice cube.

While I was outside and waiting for my nails to dry I started reading Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.  Actually, I started reading it last night but I fell asleep on top of the book.  So far I've read the first 15 chapters and I'm sucked in.  It's about two teenagers who seem to be starting some kind of friendship/love story, but Eleanor has a seriously messed up home life so... I don't know, I've only read the first quarter of the book.

I think my street might actually be kind of pretty.  I wasn't sure since we moved in at the end of the summer and basically only lived here through months and months of the longest winter ever.

By the way, THIS is what my yard looks like.  There is some grass in the front but most of it is moss and roots.  Sometimes there are also bunnies. :)
