I've got an old school Tasty Tuesday post for you today! I got distracted working on making a baby registry last night so I completely forgot to write this post and edit the video I made for it so I'm getting it all up today, even though it's Wednesday. Ha ha! Oh Well!
Heat 2/3 C. almond milk
Add in: 1/4 C. oats, scoop of ground flax seed, raisins, mashed banana, chopped walnuts
Add a little more almond milk to the oatmeal in the bowl and top with cinnamon
Vegetarian Sandwich: hummus, cheddar cheese, avocado, kale
This was my 3rd glass of water for the day
I've been getting really hungry lately. I honestly don't think I've ever been hungrier in my life except for when I was a growing teenager who was also a long distance runner. So if you were wondering how much work a pregnant woman is doing to grow a baby 24/7 it is similar to combining puberty with 11 mile runs. Anyway, I had some PB & J on a rice cake right after lunch and later in the afternoon I plowed through 8 Fig Newtons along with a cup of Raspberry Leaf tea and a couple more glasses of water.
I had a huge bowl of this pasta dish. We had about a half a jar of sauce left so we filled it out with tomatoes, red peppers, asparagus, onions and garlic. Then we added some chopped up chicken sausage and topped it off with Parmesan cheese.
I was pretty full after all of that pasta so I just had a yogurt before bed and called it a night.
